motorcycle manufacturer, is owned by the Aurora Automatic Machinery Company. The company is also credited with growing American motorcycle industry, because the homemade machines utilized by other motorcycle manufacturers such as Indians, Reading Standard and Sears.
Cooperation with the Indians began in 1902 and ended in 1907, so that Thor took the initiative to build his own motorcycle.
In early models, Thor uses a single machine that is designed Thor-Indians and has been producing for five years. And when Thor introduced the first V-twin in 1910, triggering other manufacturers follow suit.
