In the picture above looks a VW Beetle that was speeding, you can read the sentences written on the body of the car. VW is methane gas generated from the recycling process of waste (waste).

GENeco is an installation (company) waste in Bristol, UK who have managed to produce methane gas. Product is produced by processing waste and they have used it as a source of energy in their environment.

At least, their current project Talah runs quite efficiently, they are able to supply gas to some 70 households around them for a full year. The gas supplied for domestic needs is excess gas that can not be their own use and they do not want any gas that is wasted.

GENeco also challenged to be able to utilize their gas product into an energy source for vehicles, although the cost is expensive, GENeco keep importing specialized equipment, to enhance the biogas they produce in order not to degrade the performance of the machine.

Processing waste into methane gas is the first step of an ambitious environmental agenda GENeco. The company has plans to plant them to conduct their recycling of waste that taste of food.

Although not intended to replace the need for petroleum, but clearly the efforts made by GENeco is a positive step. If the project GENeco successful, the food waste is no longer the stuff that does not value or at least no longer raises concerns about environmental pollution, because after being converted into methane gas can be consumed as vehicle fuel.
