Governor of Central Java


Jepara Semarang Pavilion at Maerokoco Castle was built based of the letter of the former Governor of Central Java Province, Number: 510.1/32442 dated on August 29th, 1991 as the information and promotion service of Jepara Regency on the full source of non oil and gas commodities in the form of craft industries of tourism.The Jepara Pavilion at Maerokoco Castle Hyderabad is about 890.74 m2 wide consisting of:
1. Traditional Building 63 m2
2. Building Birowo Pradonggo 29.16 m2
3. Palace Sculpture Building 9 m2
4. Multifunction Building 147 m2
5. Gateway Building Mantingan 12.75 m2
6. Songgolangit Waterfall Miniature Building 16 m2
7. Toilets / 227.70 m2 Building Room Service
8. 373.33 m2 Garden
9. Paza Building 217 m2

The construction of Jepara Pavilion in Hyderabad Maerokoco Castle was started in June of 1992 and finished in July 1993, costed as much Rp 407,887,600, - (Four Hundred seven million eighty seven thousand eight Hundred Six Hundred Rupiahs) through Presidential Directive 1993/1994.

Buildings - Buildings in Jepara platform consists of:
a. Joglo jepara type this building is a traditional building in the district of Jepara and is still often found. The special characteristic of this architecture are:
- Building materials made of wood with carved wood wall
- Have 4 pieces pole in the middle of the building
- The roof of tiles and a special cell has a motive picture puppet. The joglo building concept of this philosophy are:
- Overlooking the sea with a view to broad-minded
- Back to the mountain with a view to not arrogant and haughty
- Roof intangible mountains with a religious purpose, the God above and the power over everything.
- Three pieces in the front door is a manifestation of the relationship between:
- Man with God
- Man to man
- Human nature
- Three Wuwungan curved roof is not broken but who have an intention as the embodiment of a flexible way of life.

b. Pradonggo Birowo
This building is a duplicate of the original building which is on the left side of Jepara Regency Hall. The function of this building is as a place gamelan consists of only drums, kecrek, kempul, and genjur.
Rung every Monday so that gamelan is by the people of Jepara called GONG Senen.

c. Sculpture Palace
This building is a monumental building for potential handicraft industry in Jepara, namely in the form of sculptures depicting people who are sculpting the horse is a symbol of the dynamics of meaning as the city of Jepara carving.

Multipurpose
d. Building
The building is held for the benefit of showing art-art Jepara in certain events can be saved.

e. Arch Mantingan
The gate is a duplicate of an ancient gate in the village of Mantingan which is the entrance to the Tomb of Queen Kalinyamat and Old Mosque Mantingan. Look of the ancient architecture Mantinga estimated gapuro was built by the end of XVII century in the sense of Arabic ghoruuren meaningful for every person who come to the mosque and tomb of the Ancient Queen Mantingan Kalinyamat to always remember to ask forgiveness to God Almighty.

f. Thumbnail SonggolangitBangunan Waterfall is a prototype of a beautiful natural attractions with water terjunya Bucu village located in Jepara District Flower District.

g. Toilets / Service this room is in addition to toilet also serves as a warehouse.

2. Explanation of the content and use of buildings.
a. Planned building will be filled with Jepara joglo:
- Duplicate table
- RA Kartini chair
- ancient marble table
- a traditional loom from Troso
- Painting of RA Kartini
- Painting imagination Queen Kalinyamat
- Examples of some of the handicraft industry of Jepara, such as relief, ikat, monel, and others.

b. At certain times this Jepara joglo building together with a versatile building can be used also as an exhibition event.

3. Attractions KesenianPada certain events, multipurpose building can be used also for the sake of art attractions typical of Jepara, among others: emprak, kentrung, ketoprak, etc..
